September 2025 class information

Please see the attached letter for information about the classes for September 2025.

The children will have the opportunity to move up to their new class on Tuesday next week. They need to go to their current class as normal for registration. Class R will go to the hall for registration with Mrs Lyall before going into class 1.

At 3.15 – class 2 will be collected from the hall, class 1 will be collected from class 2 and class R will be collected from class 1. New reception pupils (current nursery) will be collected from class R.

End of term reports

Reports will be sent home on Friday 11th July. If you would like to discuss the report, please ring school on Monday 14th July to arrange a telephone appointment with your child’s class teacher. Please return the family response sheet before Friday 18th July to confirm that you have received your child’s report. Thank you.

  • Class R – Scarlett for always showing our school values of being ready adn respectful. 
  • Class 1 – Henry for fantastic effort to work more independently with more pace. Also for always having a huge smile on his face!
  • Class 2 – Harley for growing in confidence and putting his hand up more. He is also a super role model for behaviour, well done.
  • Class 3 – Scarlett R for having such a sunny disposition and great enthusiasm for learning.
  • Class 3 – Arthur M for his enthusiasm for learning, especially this week with the Egyptians workshop.
  • Class 4 – Kit for having a really positive week, well done keep it up. Great to see you showing kindness to a friend.
  • Class 5 – William for concentrating well in class and taking increased responsibility for his learning.
  • Class 6 – Grace for her superb leadership skills with our class R sports day event.
  • Lunchtime – Millie N for always giving good eye contact and having great manners when ordering lunch.

Today we celebrated reading in our celebration assembly, with praise for lots of children for their reading at home and reading throughout the curriculum in school.

Sports day fun

What a great afternoon!

Thank you to all who came to support the children and to the staff for such a well organised event. Our children cheered each other on and showed superb sporting team values. What it’s all about!

Shout out to Badgers house who won the cup today!

1st place – Badgers 126 points

2nd place (joint)  – Foxes & Owls 124 points

3rd place – Squirrels 121 points

Thank you to parents and family members for kind words of praise for our organisation this afternoon, ensuring that we had enough shade and water, meant that we could all enjoy the event safely in the heat. Thank you also to the Thomas Adams Y9 PE students, they were a superb addition to our staff team, leading the events with confidence. A great chance to practise their PE leadership skills.

Thanks also to our amazing PTA who cooled us all down with Freezy Friday!

Father’s day lunch

Thank you to the kitchen staff for their excellent efforts with todays lovely lunch. So many positive comments about the event, and great to see families having fun together.

Thanks to the dads and grandads who enjoyed attempting our obstacle races – you were such great sports! A good bit of fun over lunch, the children really enjoyed cheering you on.

Football achievement

We celebrated with a Y3 pupil today in achievement assembly who, following a successful trial, has been selected as the number one goalkeeper for his team in the JPL, Junior Premier League. Super news, we are very proud of him. He will participate in weekly training and matches around the UK with his team within the league. We look forward to hearing all about it as he shares his success with his class.
