Extended Provision

We provide a full wraparound care service at school. Our school site is open from 7.45am to 5.45pm daily.

Breakfast Club

We provide a daily Breakfast Club to support any working parents who wish to drop their children off at school from 7.45am. The children eat a range of healthy breakfasts and enjoy playing games in the school hall. The club is open to all year groups and is led by Mrs Jane Rhoden, Mrs Jackie Evans and Mrs Jemma Morgan, who hold the necessary qualifications and safeguarding and food hygiene certificates. A member of our school leadership team is also available or contactable throughout the duration of the club as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The club costs £4 per session per pupil and must be paid in advance using parent pay. Sessions are booked and paid for at least a week in advance, the cut off for weekly bookings is the previous Thursday.

Wraparound Care – Hodnet Honey Bee’s club

We provide a daily After School Club at school from 3.15 – 5.45pm. The children eat a range of healthy teas and enjoy playing games in the school hall and the learning room. The children can complete homework tasks at this time if they choose to, however there are many weekly activities and rotational tasks which the staff organise. The menu for tea is also rotational and parents are made aware. Children all have a light snack at the end of the school day, in session 1 and then have their tea at the start of session 2. The club is open to all year groups and is led by Mrs Jane Rhoden, Mrs Jackie Evans and Mrs Jill Ward, who all hold the necessary qualifications and safeguarding and food hygiene certificates. A member of our school leadership team is also available or contactable throughout the duration of the club as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

The club costs £5 per half session per pupil, £10 for the full session, and must be paid in advance using parent pay. Sessions are booked and paid for at least a week in advance, the cut off for weekly bookings is the previous Thursday.
