Sporsthall Athletics Competition
Sportshall Athletics
During this year, some of the Year 6 children have been competing in a Sportshall Athletics competition.
The first round was held at Maurice Chandler and the team, made up of 6 girls and 5 boys competed in events such as relay, obstacle and hurdles. The girls came first and the boys second but collectively the Year 6 team won the competition. It was a day of great teamwork and staff were thrilled with their positive attitude.
The team automatically went through to county finals which took place on Tuesday, 10th March. Again, the team worked well supporting each other and competed with a great attitude. The results came in with the boys coming in 4th and the girls came 3rd.
The children are all very proud of their amazing achievements as are Hodnet Primary School.
Well done to everyone who took part.
