Attendance recognition

Well done to those who received attendance recognition awards this term. Many pupils have been in school everyday, receiving 100% attendance awards, others have reached or exceeded our school target and others have improved their attendance.

We know that it can be tricky to attend everyday, especially with so many illnesses this term, but we are thankful to those who try their best to be in school as much as possible and we celebrate with those who meet our school attendance expectations.

We aim to meet or exceed our target of 96% attendance. This term our whole school attendance was 97% at the end of October, but is now 93% so we have a little bit of work to do in the spring and summer to try to get our whole school attendance back on track.

Our class attendance breakdown is:

Class R       96.1%                            Class 4       95.2%

Class 1       95.7%                            Class 5       93.1%

Class 2       96.5%                            Class 6       96.7%

Class 3       95.4%

Well done to classes R, 1, 2 & 6 for collectively being at or above target.

Thank you to everyone involved in the Santa Shop! Wow what a lunchtime! It was busy but productive and really enjoyable. We had some super children helpers – so lovely to see the older children helping younger peers to choose and cost out their items. Thank you to the staff who helped and the PTA volunteers who made it a super successful day. We are very thankful for your efforts, in particular all the preparation that goes on before the day.
