Christmas wishes to our school community

What a term! Its certainly been a busy one in school with many learning opportunities, activities, visits, visitors and memories made.

We are so lucky at Hodnet school to have a wonderfully supportive school community. From our dedicated governors and productive PTA, our fantastic staff team, our supportive families and our hard working and kind children; we all work together to ensure our children can thrive through high quality educational experiences.

I would like to thank our staff team who have worked diligently this term, some through challenging circumstances, to meet the needs of our learners, ensure that our children feel safe, secure and confident in their learning and enabling them to make progress. Its been busy, but full of festive fun over these past few weeks and almost time for a very well deserved rest!

I would like to thank our governors who have supported our staff through the changes brought about by academisation, together learning new systems and processes with a supportive and guiding hand.

Our dedicated PTA have raised an incredible amount of money this term and deserve an enormous thank you from us all. The team may be small, but how it is mighty! Providing opportunities to make memories and have a fun whilst raising money to support all our children with much needed resources and high quality experiences.

I would like to thank our children who have tried their best, followed our school values and made good progress. Our children make our school a delightfully special place and are the reason we do what we do. Thank you to our supportive families who continue to work with us, ensuring the best outcomes for our children.

I wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. Enjoy family time together, have fun and stay safe, we look forward to many more learning opportunities next term.

Mrs Lyall, Headteacher.
