Biscuit and Fudge in the Half Term Holidays

Holidays for Fudge and Biscuit
Over the February half term, the guinea pigs went to stay with one of our Year 6 pupils.
I really enjoyed having them to stay – giving them plenty of cuddles. Biscuit and Fudge very much enjoyed their tasty snacks including Kale and Spinach and always squeaked whenever they saw us near to their food. Biscuit was especially excited whenever you brought her some more hay or fresh snacks. Fudge enjoyed the daily cuddles and attention.
Time quickly flew by and before long it was time to return them to school but I took plenty of photographs to remember having them.

Respect weekly awards

Having manners and showing respect are a staple healthy part of growing up to become good citizens in our society. We aim to showcase manners and have a culture of respect in school. That said, improvements can always be made, so we are focussing on highlighting positive rewards for respectful behaviour towards other in school. We introduced this to our pupils in assembly this week, where we created a word cloud together with the things we want to see in school to showcase our culture of respect.

Starting this week, each class will select a pupil to be their respect champion. They will receive a certificate in our Friday celebration assembly and their name will go into the draw for with the chance to be awarded the termly Respect Trophy in church.
