Safeguarding reminders

A reminder of the safeguarding team and procedures within school can be found on our dedicated safeguarding page on our website via this link or within the Safeguarding information booklets that we have in our lobby area, an adults version and a children’s version are available.

Safeguarding is our number one priority. Children need to be and feel safe in order to learn and thrive. We make sure that our children know who they can speak to if they have a worry or concern, they know about trusted adults, worry boxes and helplines that can support them. Our children also know that it is their right to be safe and to be protected from harm. We make sure our children know this through the work we do in our PSHE lessons, but also through assemblies and general conversations in school.

Our Safeguarding leads are:

  • Mrs Penny Lyall, Headteacher.
  • Mrs Ceri Williams, Deputy Headteacher (Tue-Fri), Y3 teacher and SENCO.
  • Miss Jenny Darmanin, Deputy Headteacher (Mon), Y6 teacher and Mental Health lead

Please do not hesitate to contact one of us if you have a concern. ‘Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility’.
