Kitchen vacancy re-advertised.

A reminder that we have a vacancy in our school kitchen to cover Steph’s maternity leave. Information was sent out via parent pay this week which can also be found on our school website vacancy page.

  • Class R – Alice for being ready to learn and keen to get on with her activities. 
  • Class 1 – Layla for a fantastic start at Hodnet school, well done for being such a hard worker!
  • Class 2 – Ellis for working hard with his maths and putting in lots of effort with his handwriting.
  • Class 3 – Rupert for always being cheerful, hardworking and having a great sense of humour – you are a pleasure to teach.
  • Class 4 – Eva for being a great learning role model, being respectful and polite. Well done.

Online safety meeting

A reminder that the parents online safety meeting will be available to access via the link sent out last Friday, or via a shared session in the school hall. Please inform school via parent pay if you wish to attend the session in the hall to ensure we have capacity.

Shropshire Music Service

Please scan the QR code if you would like to know more about the opportunities on offer from Shropshire Music Service. Their team members visit our school weekly to deliver private individual and group music lessons, offering a range of instrumental tuition. For further information, please contact the SMS team or ask in the school office for details.

Swimming for Y3&4

Great news – the pool is back open and we have our confirmed slot starting next Friday for 5 weeks. Thanks to Mrs O’Connor for chasing this and managing to secure our sessions. Information sent electronically this week, paper copy letters to enable you to reply will be sent home on Monday.

Church service

Our Easter church service planned for Thursday 26th March needs to be rescheduled due to Y6 being at Oakerwood that week. An oversight on my part. Please accept my apologies. I will confirm the new date asap. Expected to be Thursday 19th March, 2pm, but not yet confirmed.
