Today we celebrated reading in our celebration assembly, with praise for lots of children for their reading at home and reading throughout the curriculum in school.

Autumn 2, remaining key dates for families:

  • Wed 10th Dec – Y4 class assembly 9am. Y4 parents welcome.
  • Thurs 11th Dec – Christmas lunch. Christmas jumpers/Christmas themed clothes optional. 
  • Fri 12th Dec – PTA Santa Shop. Details on separate post.
  • Mon 15th Dec – Rocksteady concert 9.15am. Rockstars in non-uniform.
  • Tues 16th Dec – EY/KS1 Nativity 2pm. (entry with ticket only)
  • Wed 17th Dec – EY/KS1 Nativity 2pm. (entry with ticket only)
  • Thurs 18th Dec – Church service at St Luke’s, Hodnet at 2pm, families welcome.
  • Fri 19th Dec – Christmas party day – non-uniform, party clothes with sensible shoes.
  • Fri 19th Dec – Break up for Christmas holidays.
  • Monday 5th January – school reopens to pupils.

Christmas Hampers – PTA

Christmas Hampers
Christmas hamper raffle tickets can be purchased for £1 per ticket by sending money in a sealed envelope, providing a name and contact number, into school on Friday 12th, or in Church ahead of the service on the 18th (cash only please).
As well as the amazing foodie hampers, the prizes this year also feature a Squishy Santa, and two signed Christmas books – Draw with Rob at Christmas by Rob Biddulph and and A Very Curious Christmas by Maddie Moate (kindly sourced by Mrs Noden).
