Nurture Nook

We are delighted to share our new Nurture Nook, which opened this week. This space has been repurposed into a calming sanctuary space for pupils to use with staff as part of our pastoral offer.
A space to regulate, reflect and learn about feelings, emotions and social interactions.
We offer an array of pastoral interventions to support our pupils, and now we have a beautiful purposeful place to enable them.
A big thank you to all who have supported with this, including Mrs Lyall’s parents who, as retired headteachers, thoroughly enjoyed giving their time to our school.

Sports day achievements

Our best sports day yet!! Massive well done to Miss Manton who applied some  positive changes this year, meaning the event ran super smoothly. Thank you to the many parents who gave positive feedback today.
The sprint celebration at the end worked successfully with a great opportunity to see everyone give it a really good go and the long distance being part of the rotation felt much more organised. Thank you to all our staff and volunteers who enabled our event to be a success. Thomas Adams sports leaders once again led events confidently, we are grateful for their kind support.

Our amazing children showcased our values by being ready to give everything a go, being respectful and safe in the choices they made and the support they offered each other.
