One of our class puppets was feeling cross because he was drawing a picture and he had made a hole in it by accident. He wanted to stomp and shout but we helped him come up with ways to deal with this anger. We read a story called “A beautiful oops”, which helped us think about how mistakes can be made into wonderful things. We then made some of his torn and scrupled pieces of paper into wonderful pieces of artwork. At the end of the day Mrs MacCallum accidently drew on Mrs Greggory’s picture and the children helped Mrs Gregory think about how she could seal with this.
