Class R
- Sam for being kind, caring, thoughtful and hard working. For also being sensitive to others and determined to do your best.
- Amelia for being so positive and always having a smile on your face every day. For impeccable behaviour and a wonderful sense of humour too.
- Lottie for following our school values and becoming more independent in your work. Also making such a great improvement in writing too.
Class 1
- Isla for being a determined and enthusiastic learner and always being ready to do your best.
- Phoebe for increased motivation to do your best and having more confidence to share ideas and contribute in class.
- William for being a fantastic role model for behaviour in the classroom. Always being ready to learn and do your best.
Class 2

Class 5
- Ruby for quietly and consistently growing in confidence and ability. Always working hard and beginning to shine too.
- Leo for always demonstrating our school values and working incredible hard and also being a great role model for learning.
- Laila for trying hard with tricky challenges, perseverance and making good progress especially in reading.
Class 6
- Emily for being conscientious in all that you do. Putting in 100% effort all of the time. For being a fantastic role model and for being a super reading ambassador.

- Millie N for showing greater passion for your school work . For having much greater self belief and showing determination in all subjects. What fabulous progress!

Art workshop at Thomas Adams
Some of our children had the opportunity to go to Thomas Adams for an art workshop led by the Art teacher! They got to try reduction printing linked to their work on the Maya in History. They had a fantastic time!

- Respect Award – Rupert for showcasing respect around school and being an all round superstar.
- Resilience Award -Ted M for supporting his friends in class and at lunchtime.
- Responsibility Award – Jacob G for being an IPad and class monitor and taking responsibility without being asked. Also for supporting your siblings in school .
- Music and Performing Arts Award – Eva and Maeve for a fantastic duet showcasing your music talents.
Reception Plant Sale- Monday and Tuesday 3.15
Please support the children in reception who have worked so hard growing all the lovely plants for the plant sale.

Cooking home grown produce at Forest School club
KS2 Forest School Club had a fantastic session cooking sausages and potatoes on the firepit. The potatoes had been planted and grown in the school garden! They also enjoyed some fresh peas that had also been grown in school. Yum!

Headteachers commendation
Pupils who have demonstrated outstanding effort, have been role models for our school values and have really gone that extra mile, have been awarded with a Headteachers Commendation stamp on their report. This is new for this year and is something which we will continue for future years.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading all the reports, they highlight superb progress and achievements across the curriculum, well done to all our children.

Y6 retreat day
Y6 enjoyed their calming crafting day led by the volunteers at St Peter’s church, Stoke on Tern. A lovely opportunity to participate in relaxing activities at this busy time of year.
Thank you to Rev Chris and the team for our invitation, and for all that you do for the young people in our community. It is greatly appreciated.
