This term we have been learning in more depth about democracy, rights and governance, including the way in which parliament works. This which has been helpful as the children have been able to apply their knowledge to their wider roles within school.
As part of our learning, we have had a teams call with The Baroness of Richmond, who is a member of The Houses of Lords. In preparation for the call, the children used their learning to prepare questions for her.
The Baroness was incredibly knowledgeable and had many interesting stories to share with the children.
