David Attenborough Day Today, Class 5 really enjoyed doing a variety of activities to celebrate David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. In the morning they researched David Attenborough’s life and career and produced non-chronological reports using the information that they had found out. They also enjoyed a forest school session making wild flower seed bombs. In the afternoon the children had a choice of which activity they wanted to do. Some children chose to research more about David Attenborough’s life and created time lines of key events from his life. Some children researched the countries that David Attenborough has visited and labelled these on a world map. Some children researched the history of television and some children researched the impact that climate change is having on different animals. We also watched a live assembly and did a quiz all about David Attenborough.
