Class 4 had a wonderful day at Blists Hill, learning all about life in the Victorian times. We visited the Grocers, Chemist, Iron Foundry, Drapers, Sweet Shop, stables, Candle Factory, Post Office and the Bank. After that, the children dressed up as Victorian school children and experienced a lesson taught by a very strict Victorian school teacher! A (very) busy, yet insightful day was enjoyed by all.
