This week in our mathematics lessons we have been learning about addition strategies. We have been adding three numbers by looking for number facts that we know within the additions such as number facts to make 5 or 10 or doubles. We finished our week with a practical lesson looking to make a whole ten on a tens frame and then seeing how many more there were, we used our knowledge of place value to help us with this maths. As one of our challenges this week we have been recapping on odd and even numbers and sorting numbers according to whether they were odd or even.
