Last week as part of our woodland Wednesday session we learnt about two key elements of Lunar New Year traditions: the story of the animals of the Chinese zodiac and the story of Nain. We learnt that this year is the year of the horse and so we made hobby horses from old socks stuffed with leaves and tied onto a stick. We also made scary faces and noises to scare off Nain!
